AMETHYST AURA IV — “WHERE WE MEET”

Two forms move toward one another from opposite directions. They meet in the centre at one small and delicate point. To me, Where We Meet is about connection. Not only the connection between two people, but also the meeting of different parts within ourselves. Between softness and strength. Between keeping your distance and allowing someone closer. Between who you once were and who you are slowly becoming. The calm cream, grey and blue tones give the work a sense of space, while the golden and darker textures along the edges add movement and tension. Presented horizontally, the point where the forms meet becomes the quiet centre of the composition.
